Natural Products Expo is the leading business-to-business trade show for the natural, organic & healthy products industry. After two long years, 2021 marked the return of in-person events and the move from Baltimore to Philadelphia.

As the primary designer for Natural Products Expo, I was responsible for creating all onsite signage for the in-person event (excluding the conference signs, which were populated by the conference signage designer). Prior to the event, I created templates for all the various signage types and worked with the operations team to include my mockups in the official vendor spec sheet. The show campaign is new, so I worked closely with the Creative Director on integrating the updated brand guidelines and ensuring a consistent look throughout the show.

As the primary designer for the event, I was responsible for creating the campaign and any signage and marketing deliverables that were needed for the 2018 Industry Awards. The show look was inspired by the iconic Ziegfeld Ballroom in New York. I worked closely with the WealthManagement.com team and the event operations manager leading up to the event.

I personally managed each design project and worked directly with the various print vendors to ensure everything was approved, delivered, and setup in time for the event.

Starting in 2016, I was asked to create the first version of the new guidebook, which was available for purchase at the Natural Products Expo trade show. The book was well received, and I was asked to create the next several versions based off my original design.

OTA 2013 & 2014 Organic Industry Survey
The Organic Trade Association (OTA) is the membership-based business association for the organic industry in North America.

As my first major project after being hired at Informa (formerly Penton), I was assigned to design the OTA 2013 Organic Industry Survey. Each image was meticulously selected, and each chart was manually created in Illustrator from the data I was provided. The project was a success, and I was asked to create the 2014 book as well.
